.) That there is one God, Creator of all things expressed in three persons knowsn as the Godhead, which is revealed through Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:9, "For in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily." God is expressed in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
.) That in Jesus Christ alone can be found the only Savior of mankind, and that He is God manifessted in the flesh. I Timothy 3:16, "And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." John 14:6, "Jesus sayeth unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father buy by Me".
.) That Jesus was born of a virgin, bearing the blood that is without sin by the seed of the Holy Spirit for the sins of the world. Luke 1:26: "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth." (27) "To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary." (30) "And the angel said unto her, 'Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God." (31) "And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a Son, and shalt call His name Jesus."
.) That Jesus was our sin bearer and died on the cross for the sins of the entire world, freeing us from the power of sin. Romans 6:6, "knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Hebrews 2:9, "But we see Jesus, who is made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man."
.) That the resurrection of Jesus Christ was physical and literal taking place three days after His crucifixion. Romans 6:9, "Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death has no more dominion over Him."
.) That Jesus Christ will return to earth again to reign on the throne of David. That He will return with clouds and all of creation will acknowledge Him as Lord of all. Revelation 1: 7-8: "Behold He cometh with clouds; every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen." (8) I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, saith the Lord, Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come, the Almightly."
.) We believe that the Bible is the inspired God breathed Word of God, and that God will preserve His Word to every generation. Psalms 12:6-7: "The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." (7) "Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, Thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever." Luke 4:4, "And Jesus answered him, saying, 'It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God'."
.) That there are corrupted texts of Scripture. The devil's first act in causing man to fall was to change the Word of God, it remains his greatest strategy. Evidence of this is found in the Scriptures. In II Peter 3:15-17, the Apostle Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Spiit, recorded these words: (15) "And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; (16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest (twist, remove), as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. (17) Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness." The corruped texts are Textus Vaticanus and Textus Sinaictus. The Textus Receptus or the received text was the scripture used by the church throughout history, century upon century with little exception until our time. The King James Bible is translated from the received text.. New Age versions of the Scriptures like the NIV have many Scriptures removed as well as many words that particularly relate to the preeminence of Jesus of Nazareth. This is expressly forbidden in Revelation 22: 18-19: "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of this prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: (19) And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this book."
